Mission Statement
“We stand united in faith with the courage to build a loving world of truth, justice, peace and wisdom.”

At St John Fisher Catholic Primary School, our mission statement lies at the heart of everything we do. It expresses who we are as a Catholic school community and reflects our commitment to nurturing children in faith, learning, and love.
Inspired by the teachings of Christ and the example of St John Fisher, our mission guides the decisions we make, the relationships we build, and the experiences we provide for every child.
We believe education is about far more than academic success alone. Our aim is to help children flourish spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and morally so that they grow into confident, compassionate, and responsible young people.
Our mission calls us to:
Stand united in faith
Faith is central to life at St John Fisher. Through prayer, worship, Gospel values and everyday relationships, we help children develop a personal relationship with God and an understanding of what it means to live as part of a loving Catholic community.
Live with courage
We encourage children to be resilient, hopeful and confident in facing challenges. We want our pupils to have the courage to stand up for what is right, embrace opportunities and use their gifts to make a positive difference.
Build a loving world
Love is at the foundation of all we do. We teach children to care for others, celebrate differences, show compassion and contribute positively to their communities.
Seek truth, justice, peace and wisdom
Through our curriculum, relationships, and Catholic life, we help children understand the importance of honesty, fairness, forgiveness, respect and thoughtful decision-making.
Our mission is lived each day through our motto:
“When you love to learn, you learn to love.”
Together, we are building a school community where children grow in faith and learning, guided by light and courage, to shape a loving and just world.
Love. Learn. Shine.
